Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) Provider Readiness Checklist
23 Oct 2025
Providers are encouraged to review the changes and ensure they are fully prepared for the transition.
The CHSP Provider Readiness Checklist outlines key actions providers should take to remain compliant and operationally ready under the new legislation.
What providers need to do
CHSP providers should:
-
Review and update service agreements to align with the new Aged Care Act
-
Confirm client eligibility and reassess existing clients where necessary
-
Adapt internal systems and reporting processes to meet new requirements
-
Understand new governance, quality and regulatory obligations
-
Ensure staff are informed and trained on the upcoming changes
The CHSP Provider Transition Checklist is designed to support providers in managing these updates and maintaining continuity of care during the transition.
