The finalists have been selected across nine award categories. These include Team of the Year, the Judith Meppem Lifetime Achievement Award and the Healing Heart Award, which is nominated by consumers and recognises a nurse or midwife whose compassion, kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression on a patient or family.
NSW Health Secretary Susan Pearce AM congratulated the finalists and acknowledged the dedication and expertise of nurses and midwives across NSW.
NSW Health Chief Nurse Jacqui Cross said the awards highlight the important role nurses and midwives play in caring for patients and their families.
Newly appointed NSW Health Chief Midwife Donna Garland will also be involved in the awards for the first time and said she looked forward to celebrating with the finalists.
The finalists and winners will be recognised at an awards ceremony at NSW Parliament House on Monday 23 November 2026.
